Lower School
Our Lower School provides instructions specifically tailored to the special needs of young developing students ages 3-6. Classes introduce students to skills necessary for classical ballet training which begins at age 7. Gentle discipline and encouragement are combined to nurture each child’s natural creativity. Terminology and the basics of technique are gradually introduced. The students will be taught coordination skills, balance, body awareness, muscle development, stretching and strength building. Class placement in Lower School is according to age. Lower School classes include:
3/4s - 30 minute class, one day per week. $50
5/6s - 45 minute class, one day per week. $55
Intro to Ballet-6/7's- 45 minute class, one day per week. $65
Upper School
UPPER SCHOOL
Upper School consists of students ages 7 and up (Levels I-V). To help each student develop to their fullest potential as a dancer, students are placed according to their physical ability, level of commitment, attitude and technical achievement. Based on these factors, a student may be moved up or down a level during the year at the discretion of the teachers. Advancement in the Upper School is based solely on technical ability, not age or number of years in a level. Parents should encourage students to commit themselves to the discipline involved in the art of ballet. They should be encouraged to pay close attention to their teachers, apply all corrections given in a class to them or other students, and focus and concentrate on what is expected of them in class.
Upper School approximate time commitments per week, include:
LEVEL I- One 1 hour technique class per week. $75 LEVEL II* - Two 1 hour technique classes per week. $115
LEVEL III* - Two 1 hour 15 min technique classes, one 1 hour conditioning class per week.
LEVEL IV* - One 2 hour technique class, One 1 hour 30 min technique class, 1 hour conditioning class, 1 hour pointe class per week. $145
LEVEL V* - Three 2 hour technique classes, 1 hour conditioning class, 1 hour pointe class per week. $175
* Must have completed requirements as determined by the teachers to move to this level.
ADDITIONAL CLASSES AVAILABLE:
MOMMY AND ME- This class is for children ages 0-3 and a parent or caretaker. Together we will learn rhythm, musicality, colors and basic movements all set to fun and engaging music. 30 minutes $35
ADULT/TEEN- 1 hour technique class per week, no experience needed. $45
CONDITIONING CLASS- 1 hour class per week, no experience needed. $30

Level II- Mondays & Wednesdays 4:00-5:00
Level III- Mondays & Thursdays 5:00-6:15, Tuesdays 7:00-8:00
Level V- Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00-8:00, Fridays 4:00-6:00,
Pas de Deux Fridays 6:00-7:00 twice per month
Adult/Teen Ballet Class- Wednesdays 6:00-7:00
Conditioning Class- Tuesdays 7:00-8:00
